Welcome to the Transportation Services Department, a division of the Physical Plant at Michigan State University

The Transportation Services Department responsibilities include the following: operation of a charter bus service; leasing of sedans, vans and trucks to University departments; and rental of sedans and minivans to employees for official University business. We also maintain a fueling and vehicle repair service facility for the University fleet. Additionally, we operate the MSU Bikes Service Center which offers bike and canoe rentals, repairs, sales and accessories.

Transportation Services retains all documents, data, titles and licensing information for Michigan State University’s fleet of vehicles.

Campus bus shuttle service and special transportation services are operated by: Capital Area Transportation Authority (CATA) and can be reached at 517-432-2088.
